Welcome! The Washington-Baltimore Center for the Study of Group Relations
(WBC) advances the understanding of covert processes affecting leadership and
authority in groups and organizations. Using the Tavistock group relations tradition of open systems and psychodynamic theories, WBC produces training
programs, publications, meetings, and group relations conferences.
We study and apply concepts of role, task, and boundaries to the
understanding of leadership, authority and organizational effectiveness.
The
Executive Committee of the Washington-Baltimore Center for the Study of Group Relations consists of:
Michael Enders, Vice President
Joseph Schmidt, M.Div., Secretary
Spedden Hause, Ph.D., Treasurer
